DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On November 3, 2023, a Code Enforcement Board lien was recorded against John Kleer for having an accumulation of junk located on his unimproved property in the Country Gaite subdivision.
On November 13, 2023, the deed conveying the property to Kathryn MacWhorter was recorded, and the violation was cleared. The new owner submitted a request for the lien to be reduced or rescinded. The Code Enforcement Board heard the request on May 8, 2024, and based on the testimony presented, the Code Board recommended the Board of County Commissioners rescind the lien and the owner pay the administrative costs.
