DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On October 7, 2025, the Board approved Amendment 1 of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Grant agreement L0070 for additional funding to install water lines to eventually connect the Lowell area around the Florida State Fire College.
On October 10, 2025, FDEP executed the document and returned it to Marion County. This request is to add an additional $1M funds/revenues and additional $1M expense under this amendment. The budget impact is offsetting.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Increase Marion County Utility Fund appropriation by $1,000,000.

Approve attached Budget Amendment Resolution and amend the CIP.
