DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The current expenditure budget appropriation is inadequate because the Sheriff’s health insurance premiums for this year were higher than originally anticipated. The shortfall will be resolved by utilizing available funds in the Board health insurance premiums account, as those premiums were lower than projected. This is considered a non-recurring issue for the current fiscal year.
