DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of the Office of the County Engineer (OCE), Procurement Services advertised a bid to resurface SE 25th Avenue. The work includes resurfacing the existing pavement, constructing side street and driveway aprons, sodding shoulders, and restriping the pavement markings. Five (5) contractors responded to the bid. County Engineer, Tracy Straub, requests to contract with Anderson Columbia Co., Inc., the lowest responsive bidder based on the tabulation below:

BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; project cost is $446,002. Up to ten percent (10%) contingency may be added to the purchase order in accordance with the Procurement Manual.
