DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

The position of HR Risk Admin Support Specialist recently became vacant and, based on the evolution of the position over the past few years, the Human Resources Director is requesting to reclassify the vacant HR Risk Admin Support Specialist position to an Administrative Staff Assistant position.

 

This position provides administrative support to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Department, and Risk and Benefits Services. The reclassification of this position will provide a budget savings to the General Fund and provide for a better recruitment opportunity for the department.

 

BUDGET/IMPACT:

Savings of $3,944
