DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), Procurement advertised a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a qualified contractor to provide complete installation and support services to the Marion County Jail for video surveillance network upgrades. The work will consist of the installation of network foundation components in preparation for future replacement of outdated analog cameras. Only one (1) submittal was received. The current equipment has exceeded its useful life and is in need of replacement, making this project time sensitive. Selection Committee members reviewed the submittal and determined that Presidio Networked Solutions, LLC (Presidio) demonstrated the experience and qualifications necessary to perform the work. With support from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the negotiations team worked with Presidio to finalize project fees, timelines, and scope of work to ensure that the needs of the Marion County Jail are met.
Attached for review is a draft of the contract; pending approval of a budget amendment at today’s meeting, it will be sent to the contractor for execution as written and upon return, will be forwarded for the County Attorney’s, Clerk’s, and Chairman’s signatures.
