DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Board approved the 2021 Schedule of Meetings on November 17, 2020. At the time, there were no conflicts that required cancelling or rescheduling any of the regular board meetings; however, Ocala/Metro Chamber and Economic Partnership’s (CEP) Quest 2021 has since been scheduled for the week of September 6, 2021 in which several Commissioners and staff will be participating.
Staff is requesting to either reschedule the first meeting in September to Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. or combine both September meetings (September 7 and 21) into one on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 9:00 a.m., including the DRC Waivers and Reasonable Accommodation Requests and Planning and Zoning items.

Recommended action
Motion to approve the rescheduling of the regularly scheduled Commission Meeting on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 to Tuesday, September 9, 2021 or combine the Tuesday, September 7, 2021 meeting with the regularly scheduled Commission Meeting on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 and reschedule on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. in the McPherson Governmental Campus Auditorium.
