DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The 5th floor of the Judicial Center parking garage is in need of immediate repair in order to prevent structural damage to the remainder of the parking garage. Floors 1-4 are set to be repaired in future Capital Improvements Program (CIP) years, but the 5th floor has been identified as a current priority after an extensive inspection was conducted. Elements, such as rain, are entering through damaged areas on the top floor and permeating throughout the remainder of the structure adding additional superficial damage. We are asking to transfer the needed $360,000 from Facilities Small Projects account (AA180519-546140) to CIP project FMC000029 (AA707712-563102 Courthouse Capital) to repair the damaged 5th floor during this fiscal year.
