DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The items below have been received by Procurement Services and are approved for conformance with the Procurement Code/Manual, pending approval at today’s meeting.
Pending Requisition/Motorola Solutions - Marion County Public Safety Communications requests approval to purchase multiple site, 800 MHz system upgrades and repair projects. Each individual project is listed below and attached for review are copies of each of the site proposals. Once projects are completed, all of the new equipment will remain the property of Marion County Public Safety Communications Radio Division. In July of 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Sales Tax initiative to upgrade Marion County’s radio system infrastructure, with which this Agenda item is directly related. Total expenditure $585,829.00. This purchase is under 12ST-196.
