DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The existing Five (5) Year Empowering Marion for Success Strategic Plan will finish by the end of September 2021. Over the past few months the County Administrator has led an effort by Senior Management, Department Directors, and staff to evaluate the current status of our operation and identify challenges and opportunities that require special attention over the next five (5) years, 2022-2026, which will be Empowering Marion Part II. The intention of the workshop is to provide an overview of staff’s progress on the proposed plan, which is still in the developmental stages, for Board discussion and feedback.
