DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On January 19, 2021, the Board approved the terms of the newly created Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program to provide funds for the payment of rent, rental arrears, utilities and home energy costs, and utility and home energy cost arrears on behalf of eligible households.
On May 4, 2021, staff was notified that the portal and application for the Emergency Rental Assistance 2 (ERA 2) Program is now live. To receive the awards under the program in a timely manner, staff is requesting the Board authorize the County Administrator or his designee(s) to approve and submit the necessary information.
