DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On April 6, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved a Selection Committee Recommendation for licensed Construction Manager Services for miscellaneous projects, to be defined by the County, as needed. The work to be performed will involve a variety of Construction projects, on a Task Order basis. Facilities Management would like to award the work for the installation of two (2) new T- Hangar structures at Dunnellon Airport to Dinkins Construction LLC. The project consists of the installation of two (2) nested T-Hangar buildings that will be sized for single engine aircrafts, approximately 13,400 SF each. The project funding is 80% Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) grant with a 20% match from the County. If approved, Dinkins will furnish all construction management and general contractors’ services, as identified within the original C.M. agreement with Marion County.
Attached for your review is a draft of the agreement. Pending approval at today’s meeting, it will be sent to Dinkins Construction LLC for signature and upon return, it will be forwarded for the County Attorney, Clerk of the Court, and Chairman to execute.
