DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Board of County Commissioners approved Grant Agreement Number 17205 with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) during the January 18, 2022 BCC meeting. This grant is to fund several improvements at Heagy-Burry Boat Ramp.
Due to an issue that occurred during the bidding process, the project was delayed and could not be completed within the time frame specified in the original Agreement. FWC has offered an amendment to the Agreement to extend the completion date to December 31, 2025. This time extension has no impact on the project budget or funding from FWC.
