DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of the Solid Waste Department, Procurement advertised a bid for the removal and disposal of refrigerants from equipment disposed of at all outlying Marion County Recycling Centers and the Baseline Landfill. There will be 19 locations serviced with the Baseline Landfill and Baseline Recycling Center co-located. Three (3) submittals were received; the tabulation is listed below:

Solid Waste Director, Mark Johnson, recommends that HVAC Concepts, LLC receive the award as the lowest, most responsive, and most responsible bidder.
Attached for review is a contract draft and pending approval at today’s meeting, it will be sent to HVAC Concepts for signatures. Upon return, it will be forwarded for the County Attorney, Clerk, and Chairman’s signatures.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; expenditure of $95,000. Funding is from ZA427534-534101 Solid Waste Disposal Fund.
