DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Parks & Recreation Department needs to transfer funds into promotional items for an increase of marketing efforts. The Department continues to find ways to increase brand recognition and advertisement opportunities for various parks, recreation programs and rental venues including through the implementation of professionally designed and installed wraps for eight passenger vans. The designs will highlight the Department's offerings and the beauty that is Marion County. The funding is available from the transfer line because the Department has reprioritized a few smaller projects fiscal year. This transfer will cover current expenses along with any additional expenses for the remainder of the fiscal year.
