DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On August 7, 2020 the Board approved the Marion County Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan to establish the goals and objectives with the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) which included Non-Profit Facility construction/renovation.
This project intends to expand the ability of the organization to offer options for outdoor activities and programs by building a 1,300 square foot outdoor pavilion with an accessible bathroom, a 2,400 square foot shaded outdoor fitness and recreation area for exercise, and a 2,000 square foot basketball court. This project qualifies as a CDBG Public Facility and Improvement Activity, predominately benefitting those who are developmentally disabled.
TLC is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide a safe, caring, and enriching community for intellectually disabled adults.
